MLAC Hosting Little Athletics Ambassador Mia Scerri for our Coles Community Day

🎉 Exciting News for Mornington Little Aths Families! 🎉

We’re absolutely thrilled to announce that Little Athletics Australia ambassador Mia Scerri will be joining us at Mornington Little Athletics Centre as part of our Coles Community Round on Saturday 15th November 2025!

🏅 Meet Mia Scerri

Mia is a rising star in Australian athletics, having represented Australia at the World U20 Championships in Peru (4th place!) and the World University Games. She’s also the Oceania U20 Heptathlon Champion and continues to inspire with her dedication and passion for multi-events.

Mia’s athletics journey began at just five years old at Sandringham Little Athletics Centre, and she’s never looked back! She trains under Ralph Newton and draws inspiration from world champion Katarina Johnson-Thompson, known for her resilience and determination.

🎈 Get into the Coles Community Round Spirit!

We want to see a sea of Coles Red on the day! Dress up in your best red-themed outfits — think red shirts, hats, socks, tutus, wigs, and more!🏆 Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed, so get creative and show your Coles spirit!

📸 There’ll be opportunities for photos, autographs, and plenty of fun as we celebrate the spirit of community and athletics together.
