Mornington Little Athletics is proud to announce our Open Day event -
The 2026 Combined Event Challenge will be an individual five event program consisting of a sprint, hurdles, jump, throw and a distance running event.
Events
Guidelines
GIRLS: 70m(U6-8), 100m(U9-17), 300m(U6), 400m(U7,U8), 800m (U9-17), High Jump (U12-U17), Long Jump, Shot Put, Age Specific Hurdles.
BOYS: 70m(U6-8), 100m(U9-17), 300m(U6), 400m(U7,U8), 800m (U9-17), High Jump (U12-U17), Long Jump, Discus, Age Specific Hurdles.
Registration:
1. All athletes must be registered and financial with Little Athletics Victoria. Mornington LAC members DO NOT have to sign up and pay for this event. Simply turn up on the day.
Events:
2. Each competitor should complete each of the allocated events.
3. In the throwing events, athletes will be required to complete their three throws in succession, with only the longest throw being recorded.
4. In High Jump events, athletes will be allowed a maximum of 8 jumps to complete the event.
Scoring:
5. Alberta scoring system will be used for points allocation.
Uniform:
6. Current Centre or Club uniform with Commonwealth Bank registration patch and Coles Patch must be worn.
Age Groups:
7. U6 to U13, then U14/U15/U16/U17 combined
Awards:
8. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place medals will be awarded in all age groups.
