Season 2009-2010.......full steam ahead

 

Tuesday evening this week saw MLAC 1st committee meeting for the new seasoning. Many idea's were spoken about for the coming season.

 

This time of year is an exciting time, as the ideas are developed, which in time become the season which brings so much enjoyment to our members and their families.

 

Should you wish to attend either of the 2 remaining meetings in the lead up to the season commencement, feel free to make contact and come along.

 

 

MLAC - A new home?

 

A big thank you to Scott McGill and Andrew Duncan who last week worked with Mornington Secondary College in preparing a grant submission, in order to fund a full sized, all weather athletic track at Mornington Secondary College.

 

The submission made was absolutely tremendous - the working together of both MLAC and MSC was testament to how MLAC is percieved in the community and MSC spirit of community was certainly a driving force behind the submission.

 

We should hear wether or not we were successful, sometime in August, until then, Fingers Crossed.

 

 

Cross Country 2009

A great many number of our members braved the wintery weather at Penbank on Saturday and competed with great enthusiasm, thank you to our members and their families for their continued support of our Cross Country Season.

• Sat 27th SMR XC Challenge – Penbank School, Moorooduc - All Day

 

JULY 2009

• Sat 4th Hastings Foreshore
• Sat 11th Rosebud Foreshore - 2.00 PM Start
• Sat18th Hastings Foreshore
• Sun 26th State Cross Country - Bundoora Park, Bundoora - All Day

 

AUGUST 2009

• Sat 1st Championship Handicap and Presentation Day – Penbank School, Moorooduc
