We had a huge day at Regional Relays on Saturday the 19th of November. We won 5 gold medals, 11 silver and 3 bronze. We were surrounded constantly by the sounds of the "bling cling". Paul Davies (Team Manager) - always a very labour intensive job, well done.

Karen Bryce/Julie Burton/David Sutherland (Call Room) - long hours spent checking uniforms, thank you.

Chris Crewther MP visits Mace Oval

November 13, 2016

During the recent Federal election, our new elected Dunkley MP Chris Crewther announced that if the Liberals won, they would contribute $2M towards building an IAAF standard all weather track at Civic Reserve, Mornington.

Chris is keen for the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council to get this project up and running and is constant contact with them.  We gratefully thank Chris and Flinders MP Greg Hunt for their hard work in securing this funding.

An all weather track in Mornington will not just benefit Mornington Little Athletics Centre, the senior club Mornington Peninsula Athletics Club will also finally have a home, and the track will be utilised by over 80 Peninsula schools and many other sporting clubs in the area.
