Cross Country 2006

Mornington will again be holding its Cross Country Season in conjunction with the Western Port Little Athletics Club to provide athletes an opportunity to compete at local Cross Country, Region and State events.

The season commences on Saturday April 8th 2006.

It will be held at the Balnarring Pony Club - EMU PLAINS Racecourse in Balnarring - enter via the South Gate. (Melways Ref: 163 H9). Please arrange to be there by 8.45am as walking the course commences at 9.00am with the first races commencing from 9.15am. Times may vary on first day.

We conduct Cross Country in and around the thick bush and horse trails associated with the Hastings Pony Club. They kindly allow us to use there undercover area and facilities.

We cater for all athletes from U6 through to Interaths. The only cost if you are a registered athlete with the VLAA is two dollars a week and some entry fee's to open, region and state events.

New registrations will have to pay a $30 fee which will covers the VLAA fee of $26.00
Distances run - U6,7,8 - 1000m / U9,10 - 1500m / U11,12 - 2000m U13,14,15 - Interaths 3000m
